Triple Berry Coconut Smoothie is pretty and tasty. Flavoured with 3 types of fresh berries, raw coconut slices and yogurt, this healthy smoothie is perfect for breakfast or lunch.
I really love smoothies. When it comes to a quick breakfast or lunch, you can really pack in a lot of nutrition into 1 glass. You can make them out of just about anything, and it’s a great way to get your daily quota of fruits and veggies. I haven’t tried a combination that I didn’t like yet. Have you tried a Hemp Heart Smoothie?
With berries in season I just love mixing in all the wonderful varieties. We always have fresh fruit on hand, but frozen fruit is an excellent choice as well. Throw in the fruit, some yogurt, a bit of milk, ice and blend away. Kefir works well too.
I will often throw in some other goodies into smoothies like oatmeal, chia seeds or hemp hearts if I want an added boost of protein and nutrition. Experiment with greens too. Avocado is awesome in a smoothie. I love using kale, spinach, broccoli, really anything works. It all depends on the flavour combination you want for the day (or the selection on hand in the fridge).
For this Triple Berry Coconut Smoothie I used strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, almond milk, greek yogurt and organic raw dried coconut slices. Have you ever tried them? They are great to snack on, it’s just like eating fresh coconut but more convenient.
Blenders make smoothies quick and easy. This makes a great breakfast, but I usually have it for lunch. It’s perfect to take with me up to the computer as I work away on the blog. I love the fact there are no added sugars, just the great sweetness from the berries.
Smoothies are an excellent way to pack in nutrition. I have even made them the night before and stored them in a glass drinking jar with a lid, when I know I will be in a rush in the morning. No need to skip on nutrition even when you are in a hurry. One of our favourites is my Apple Cottage Cheese Smoothie.
So next time you want a healthy, nutritious, quick and easy meal option give this Triple Berry Coconut Smoothie a try. Delicious goodness in a glass.

I like to switch up and try different smoothies. I think the dry coconut will be a refreshing touch to an old favorite.

Hmm… something weird happened and the comment suddenly refreshed while I was typing it. I was wondering if I could buy those coconut slices at Bulk Barn, do you know? The smoothie sounds delicious with all the yogurt and fruit!

It is a great smoothie…and I got the coconut slices at Farm Boy!!

I love the idea of adding dried coconut! And the yogurt adds a nice bit of protein, too. Love that!

Delish! I love berry smoothies but I always forget to add the ice. Would be so much better super chilled!

Yes the ice does make a difference.

I know this is old but I just found this recipe & love these ingredients! I like to use frozen berries so it’s nice and frosty without getting watery. Plus frozen organic fruit is really affordable compared to fresh, and doesn’t matter that it would be mushy lol.
Does anyone else notice blackberries have a weird bitter taste if blended? It’s my favorite fruit, but I’ve never figured out how to use them in smoothies without that problem. Maybe it’s something in the seeds when they get crushed? Would love to know, and any ideas!!

I find blackberries can be bitter even when they are fresh. This smoothie recipe is a great place to use them that’s for sure.
