Suggestions/Recipe Tips
Lemon curd can be homemade or store-bought. You can also use lemon pudding.
Whipped cream can be made fresh. You can make it ahead of time and stabilize it. If you like, canned whipped cream is always an option.
Berries are anything you like. I used strawberries. Blueberries and raspberries are great alternatives.
Ladyfingers are always elegant to use in desserts. You can switch these up for any kind of biscuit you like. Shortbread cookies are delicious. You can even use cake, like shortcake or pound cake.
Serve in a tall glass to show off the pretty layers. Wine glasses are a great choice. They can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to eat. You may want to use stabilized whipped cream if you are going to store them for several hours.

Oh my goodness, what a great dessert recipe! Lemon is a flavor I really crave in the hotter temperatures, so this would be perfect for summer. But in reference to the weather – yeah, rain can stop a cook-out. But cool weather? Nope! We grilled out in Alaska at -30 degrees 😉

I think I was born sucking on a lemon instead of my thumb. I love lemons and I so enjoy the tartness of a lemon dessert. And right now it’s time for easy. We make most of our meals on the grill if we can — and Hubby has been known to clean the snow off of the grill before using. I pinned your dessert — it sounds so good!

Thanks….and yes lemon desserts are awesome. Now I just have to convince hubby to grill more in the cold weather. After the ribs we had tonight, it might just be a little easier.
