Easy Blackberry Lemon Ice Pops
Once you start making your own frozen treats and see how easy and fun it is, you will quickly become a hit with the kids and adults alike. I guarantee the ones you make at home are so much better than bought. The fruit and tea combinations are endless, along with any other flavour combination you can create.
- For these fruit and tea popsicles I brewed some lemon tea.
- Take your washed blackberries and place them in the ice pop molds.
- Next drop in some strands of the candied lemon zest.
- Pour in your cooled tea, put on the tops and place in the freezer.

Suggestions / Recipe Tips
- When brewing the tea I usually double the recommended amount per serving. I want a nice strong flavour. You can pick any flavour you like.
- Alternatively you can use bought ice tea for this homemade popsicle recipe. Lemonade and juice are can be used as well. In fact, you can turn this blended watermelon juice into a frozen treat.
- Blackberries can be replaced with any berry you like.
- If you want things on the sweeter side, add some honey to the tea. If you are using store bought juice, lemonade or ice tea, it will be sweetened.
- Candied lemon is optional but adds a nice little pop of flavour. Candied orange or pineapple would be great too.
Once they are frozen, I run the outside of the mold under hot water to help loosen the ice pops out.
