Festive Holiday Special Tea is a latte made with gingerbread tea and eggnog. Taste the flavours of the holidays in one drink!!
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the holidays and all the wonderful unique flavours they bring. Sometimes I just can’t get enough…and this is true with the flavours of this tea latte.
Gingerbread is one of those flavours that I can eat all year round, but when it comes to the holidays, gingerbread brings on a whole new meaning. Cookies, cakes, waffles and lattes are all such wonderful foods that can incorporate the spicy holiday tradition. This Festive Holiday Special Tea incorporates gingerbread tea and eggnog…making a truly divine seasonal classic…and so easy to make at home.
Recently we had a Farm Boy open up here. In the past I only thought eggnog was ok, but this eggnog kicks it up a level (or 10!!) It is the MOST decadent eggnog I have ever tasted. Rich, smooth, creamy…OMG I am so glad (well not really) that it is only seasonal…..this could be turn into an addiction!!
Anyway since I LOVE it SO much I have been busy experimenting all kinds of ways to keep drinking it while I can…it’s a long time before next Christmas! Really seriously if you have never tried it…hurry you won’t want to miss out!!
Festive Holiday Special Tea is my tea latte creation using gingerbread tea and eggnog. Simple, seasonal and oh so yummy. It’s like having a Starbucks in your own home….but better.
Such an easy drink to make. Pick your favourite brand of gingerbread tea. I used Four O’Clock…and make it strong using 2 bags per cup of water (in my case 1 1/4 cups of water). While that is steeping away, bring some eggnog to just under boiling and then froth. I use an aerolatte. Add the hot eggnog to your cup of gingerbread tea, stir and top with the foam. Tada…Festive Holiday Special Tea is ready to enjoy.
Be sure to enjoy some festive flavours this holiday season….and buy LOTS of this incredible eggnog….you will become addicted too!!
For another wonderful festive drink using eggnog try my Rum & Eggnog Latte!!
