I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the holidays and all the wonderful unique flavours they bring. Sometimes I just can’t get enough. Homemade pumpkin latte is one of my favourites.

RECIPE and INSTRUCTIONS for the holiday tea recipe can be found at the bottom of this post.

Gingerbread is one of those flavours that I can eat all year round. When it comes to the holidays, gingerbread brings on a whole new meaning. Have you tried my gingerbread chocolate chip cookies? Santa LOVES taking some of these back to the North Pole.

Cookies, cakes, waffles, and lattes are all such wonderful foods that can incorporate the spicy holiday tradition. This festive tea latte incorporates gingerbread tea and eggnog making a truly divine seasonal classic and so easy to make at home.

Anyway since I LOVE it SO much I have been busy experimenting all kinds of ways to keep drinking it while I can. It’s a long time before next Christmas! Really seriously if you have never tried it, hurry you won’t want to miss out!!

What Is In a Gingerbread Tea Latte?

    My holiday latte creation uses:

    • gingerbread flavoured tea
    • eggnong

Simple, seasonal, and oh so yummy. It’s like having a Starbucks in your own home, but better.

Such an easy drink to make. Pick your favourite brand of gingerbread tea. I used Four O’Clock. Of course, there are also brands of loose tea you can choose from as well.

As for the eggnog, I would suggest the BEST one you can find. I only enjoy it once a year, so I splurge and get the full-fat version. You can use the light variety if you prefer.

For another wonderful festive drink using eggnog try my Rum & Eggnog Latte!!

How To Make A Holiday Tea Latte

You will feel like a barista in your own kitchen. You just might want to experiment and make other lattes like a London fog, or chai latte.

    • steep your tea
    • warm the eggnog to just under boiling
    • froth
    • pour into the steeped tea
    • ENJOY!

I don’t use any sweetener since the eggnog is already sweet. You can always sprinkle on some cinnamon or nutmeg on top.

Creating a nice foam with the eggnog is a breeze with a hand held (affiliate) frother.

    Is Eggnog Good In Tea?

YES, it is delicious, and if you have never tried it you really need to. The tea helps to thin out the heavy eggnog texture without compromising the taste.

Be sure to enjoy some festive flavours this holiday season.

While you are in the latte making spirit, have you tried a chocolate milk latte? Oh so good and a great way to warm up from some fun in the snow.

What an original way to mix eggnog and tea together. You’ve just opened my horizons. It’s like chai tea when you think about it but with a twist!

I’m not a tea drinker but that special tea latte looks so inviting. Never heard of gingerbread tea but I can imagine the wonderful flavor it will infuse.
