Easy Boursin Stuffed Dates In Minutes
Seriously this is the easiest elegant appetizer I have made. I love the fact you can add them to the dessert buffet too. Such a versatile date recipe. In fact, I love them so much I make them as a quick snack when I feel like a treat.
Make these delicious old-fashioned dates stuffed with cheese in a matter of minutes. Full instructions are in the recipe card.

- Pit the dates.
- Stuff them with cheese.
- Top them with a cranberry.

Warm the honey, drizzle and serve. They will disappear in seconds, be sure to make lots.
Suggestions / Recipe Tips
- Medjool dates are perfect for stuffing. They are a nice size with a soft and chewy texture. Super easy to pit, but you can of course use pitted dates if you prefer.
- Boursin cheese is the star of the show. I used cranberry pepper flavoured cheese. Apple maple would be another great choice. Alternative options would be goat cheese, cream cheese, ricotta cheese, feta or mascarpone cheese.
- Chocolate honey is the ultimate drizzle for this dates and cheese recipe. I love the combination of dates and chocolate, what a sweet treat. Any honey will work, and hot honey would be fantastic.
- Dried cranberries are cute little toppings, especially during the holidays. You could also use nuts or any dried fruit you like. Blueberries or cherries would be awesome, even cut up figs would be delicious.

- These can be made ahead of time, and kept in a container in the fridge until ready to use. Don’t drizzle with honey until the last minute.
- Serve at room temperature, so take them out about 30 minutes prior to serving. You can also pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds. You can also warm them in the oven. Just place them on a baking sheet, and heat in a moderate oven (about 350ºF for about 5 minutes).
- Leftovers will keep for about a week, stored in the fridge. Perfect for snacking.
