Who doesn't love the true holiday classic? Homemade coffee and eggnog latte is great to enjoy during tree trimming, present wrapping...or just to celebrate the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces strong coffee (fresh or instant)
  • 6 ounces eggnog
  • 2 ounces rum (white or amber)
  • Nutmeg (for topping)

Instructions

  • Place eggnog in a pot and heat to just under boiling.
  • Make espresso in a measuring cup with boiling water.
  • Place rum in mug.
  • Add hot espresso to the rum.
  • Froth eggnog.
  • Add eggnog to mug and top with foam.
  • Sprinkle nutmeg and enjoy!

Notes

You can use either white or spiced rum for this recipe. NO RUM is also a great non-alcoholic option!!
FOR THE COFFEE I use instant espresso instead of regular instant coffee. Make it as strong as YOU like.
If you need non-dairy use a plant-based egg nog instead.
