Cut the pears in half, and take out the core. No need to peel.
Add butter to a pan or cast iron stovetop dish.
Place the pears cut side down and brown for 3-4 minutes
Transfer the pears to the preheated oven and cook for about 10 minutes.
Flip the pears and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
Flip the pears cut side down, and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until desired doneness. They should be soft enough to cut with a knife.
Remove from oven.
Place in a serving dish, garnish with yogurt and drizzle with warm honey.

Notes
Any kind of pear will work. Different flavoured balsamic vinegars and honey are fun to experiment with.Any flavour of yogurt you like can be used as well.
