In reply to Kelly. We have not had this issue. I would suggest that you contact the company and let them know the problems you are having. I am sure they will take care of you. Hope you get it sorted out, since this is an amazing BBQ tool. We can certainly regulate the temp of the pit so much better with our unit.

Hi, we just got the 300 and when we get it going to jumps between meat 1, 2 and 3 even though we don’t have more than one probe in and I don’t actually have the setting switched to (on/green) on the app. I tried just using the unit itself but it still jumps from one through three. It seems so easy to set on the app but it doesn’t seem to be working out so easy! Any thoughts? Also when I set the pit temp on the app, it shows the set temp but it doesn’t show the actual pit temp, then all of a sudden the pit temp jumps to 1836degrees and so does the meat temp 2. Sometimes meat 3 shows the actual correct temp. So we gave up and went back to the original just to cook our chickens. I’ve been looking for a good tutorial on YouTube but haven’t found anything that’s helpful!

What is the difference between the 200 and 300 models?
